Our Club’s manager is Jane Comeau MBE
Jane has worked in the childcare sector for over 35 years, the last 29 as a Registered childminder employing assistants as her business grew.
She has been awarded Outstanding at her last four Ofsted inspections.
She has Early Years Teacher Status as well as Level 5 Management qualification.
Throughout her career Jane has also been a keen volunteer, most recently spending nine years as a Trustee of PACEY (Professional Association of Childcare and Early Years) six of those as Chair. During this time she engaged frequently with Government departments, contributing to meetings with Deputy Prime Minister, DfE and Ofsted.
Jane was awarded an MBE in 2021 New Years Honours List for her services to education.
All of our staff have significant experience of working with children and undertake professional development training. All staff members are DBS checked. Every session we have a First Aid qualified member of staff. We maintain a voluntary staff/child ratio of 1:15 which is well within the latest statutory requirements but is a service standard we set ourselves.
Our staffing strategy is to follow experience, that is parenting experience and childcare and education experience, Jane brings this in spades to our childcare business, we are very fortunate to have secured her participation, we hope you’ll support us all wholeheartedly.
